2008 "La Luce" Sauvignon blanc What can we say about a wine which you can set your clock to? The 2008 is lovely and delicious with bright honeydew, honeysuckle, citrus and a touch of honey. Crisp, clean and lively, as always. $15.00 per bottle.

2005 Merlot Merlot is making a comeback as the “Sideways” era comes to a close. Prices are still favorable so it makes one of the best high-quality everyday wines out there. Fans of our style will enjoy the plush aromas and flavors of the ’05, a little on the serious side with an emphasis on rich, spicy components over the blueberry/strawberry fruit. $24.00 per bottle.

2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Our varietal Cabernet displays the complexity from the vintage, in general, and the blackberry/black olive from our site in particular. It is quite robust and is just hitting its stride with a relatively firm backbone under layers of blackberry, olive, dark chocolate and toasty oak. $42 per bottle.

ALTA Label 2005 “ALTA” – Bordeaux Blend Alta is a blend of the best barrels in our cellar, 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot. With an emphasis on layers of complexity and balance, it is a superb compliment to mealtime. The aromatics are a complex array of strawberry, blueberry, chocolate and hints of cedar and olive. The flavors form asmooth arc of berry fruit, chocolate, toasty oak and light spice and a rich, lasting finish. $75 per bottle.

2006 “Road Block” Syrah ALMOST GONE, TWO BOTTLE LIMIT. Here is the newest thing from Farella-Park, our dark and robust “Road Block” Syrah. With deep plum/blueberry fruit, hints of smoke and a dollop of French oak spice it is silky smooth throughout on the palate. We are very pleased with its balance for a wine of this structure. Only 74 cases produced. $30 per bottle.
